Steve Shonesky Joins Hyundai As

Warehouse Product Manager.

As Hyundai Material Handling continues to build our staff to better serve the needs of our dealers and their customers, we’re proud to announce that Steve Shonesky has joined our team. As Warehouse Product Manager, Steve brings three decades of experience in this crucial market segment and will play a key role as we increase sales and market share.

A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, Steve also received a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He began his material handling career in 1993 working for a prominent Raymond dealer. After graduating from Raymond’s sales/industrial engineering program, he moved into the field and was quickly promoted to sales manager. In this role he helped increased their share to 55%.

Steve then worked as the manager of warehouse product sales for a company representing Hyster lift trucks, growing their share to over 30%. Then, he moved to the corporate side joining Hyster-Yale as a regional sales manager for warehouse, distribution, and narrow aisle applications. Steve worked with dealers around the country, converting competitive accounts and end users, and played key roles in new product launches and training.

After 15 years, he joined KION NA/Linde as a regional sales manager, again for warehouse, distribution, and VNA. During his tenure, Steve was responsible for class 1-3 sales, dealer training and as a VNA expert.

Now, he is bringing his wealth of experience to Hyundai Material Handling.

Steve resides in the South Hills suburb of Pittsburgh and is a big fan of Pittsburg sports teams and Penn State football.
