August 2023

To Our Valued Dealers,

As some of you may know, I was in Korea recently visiting Hyundai HQ. It was as always when I visit Korea an amazing trip and – as always – I come back excited about what I’ve learned and what I saw at our Ulsan facility. Above all, you should know that our manufacturing plant is cranking! In June, Hyundai shipped 752 units – that’s 152 (25%) over estimate.

While that’s impressive, I had great meetings about the future of the North American market for Hyundai and the ever larger role we’re playing in our global company. One hot topic is our large cushion model that will be coming. There is a lot of excitement building around this new piece of equipment. I’ll keep you informed as the design and manufacturing process takes shape.

In the meantime, there’s a lot going on that you can read about in our August newsletter. Here’s just a brief rundown.

First, we’re very excited that our Class III equipment will soon be added to our website. And we have plans to really promote this gateway product. Second, speaking of product, our new 100D-9V diesel forklift is here. This workhorse forklift features a great lineup of performance, reliability, and ergonomic features. Check it out now.

Our staff continues to grow, and we want to welcome Hojun Hong (aka Howard) to our team as a new Product Development Coordinator. He’s from Korea but is now living in the Suwanee area with his wife and 5-year old son. Meet him today.

I’d also like to personally congratulate Stewart Potts and Mark Weisner who both are celebrating 30-year anniversaries at one of our great dealers – Carolina Industrial Trucks. They had quite a celebration. See for yourself.

As I told you, there are a lot of great things happening at Hyundai. I’ll tell you more in the weeks and months to come. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing to strengthen our great dealer relationships and bring you the equipment, service, and support you and your customers need. No One Delivers More, it’s a promise we work tirelessly to keep.
