This important safety system is activated when the engine stops, when the OPSS detects the operator has left the seat or or the transmission is placed in neutral, automatically engaging the parking brake. The parking brake can also be applied and released with just the touch of a button.
When the forklift stops while climbing a slope or a grade, the auto parking brake is applied preventing the forklift from rolling back when work resumes. This important feature is essential when transporting heavy loads on sloped surfaces or ramps.
